This week we will kick off our social studies unit on economics. Students will learn the difference between needs and wants. We will end the week with a discussion on goods and services. Check out this link to see if you can master the difference between the two vocabulary words.
In math we are continuing to work on addition strategies and fact families. Students took their first unit math assessment. We are in the process of going over it in class and it will be returned by Friday.
Please continue to practice spelling on your own. Students can practice by clicking on Spelling City on our Student Tab. Their login is their student number.

Monday- Labor Day (no school)
Tuesday- Reading MAPS test and library books due
Wednesday- 2:45 p.m. dismissal
Friday- Math MAPS test
