This week we will be reading Mrs. Brown Went to Town (click on link to listen to story). We will be working on making predictions and inferences. This strategy will be reinforced on the back of their reading log this week. Remember they can also practice their spelling on our student website.
In math we are working on even and odd numbers and subtraction story problems. We are working on our basic math facts too. If you want to practice at home, click on XtraMath. Go under the student tab and put in my email address, the students' name, and pin. Students should be familiar with this at home.
In social studies we are discussing tax on goods and community services. We will end the week talking about factories.
